The outer shell incorporates Superfabric panels on the knees and leather grip panels on the inside of the lower leg, providing enhanced durability and abrasion resistance in high-wear areas. The removable insulated liner includes four Microwire heating zones—two on the legs and two on the hips—delivering even heat distribution for optimal comfort in cold conditions. Direct ventilation on the thighs aids in temperature regulation, preventing overheating during vigorous activity. The design includes calf zippers with Velcro closures and YKK zippers for secure and convenient access, enhancing overall functionality. The pants connect effortlessly to the jacket liner heat supply or can be run directly to the controller, offering flexible installation options. Compatibility with Gerbing’s advanced interconnect system allows these heated pants to plug directly into your motorcycle, snowmobile, ATV, boat, or airplane electrical system, providing an unlimited power source to keep you warm at any temperature or speed. For safety and optimal performance, it is recommended to use a Gerbing temperature controller with this product, as well as a Battery Harness, which are sold separately. The integrated waterproof Microwire system employs micro-sized stainless steel fibers encased in a proprietary coating, ensuring durability, efficient heat transfer, and even heating for maximum comfort.
