The Fly Racing Formula CC Glide Helmet offers premium protection and advanced safety technology for riders who refuse to compromise on comfort. Engineered with a tri-weave composite shell—a sophisticated blend of carbon fiber, DuPont™ Kevlar®, and fiberglass—this helmet provides a lightweight yet highly durable barrier with superior penetration resistance. This advanced construction reduces rider fatigue during extended sessions while maintaining maximum structural integrity.
At the core of the Formula CC is an innovative impact management system. RHEON Impact Energy Cells maximize the absorption of low-speed linear and rotational impacts, significantly reducing the forces transmitted to the brain. Complementing this is the Conehead® dual-density Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) technology, which utilizes a softer liner and six finely tuned critical zones to provide a progressive response to impacts across varying speeds. For added protection, expanded volume EPS in key areas creates additional suspension between the head and the ground, while the expanded polypropylene (EPP) chin bar offers superior damage resistance and energy absorption.
Designed with rider ergonomics in mind, the helmet features a clavicle shell relief zone filled with EPS and EPP to help minimize collarbone injuries during a collision. Comfort is prioritized through a moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads, all of which are washable to ensure long-term hygiene. The True Functional Ventilation (TFV) system maintains a cool environment by forcing air through multiple intake vents, passing through aligned channels in the EPS, and exiting via rear exhaust vents.
Weighing approximately 2.9 pounds, the helmet includes a custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard for added durability. For versatile use, it comes with a soft fleece storage bag and is compatible with an optional cold-weather breath guard.
