The helmet's fit can be customized with interchangeable crown and cheek pads in various thicknesses, allowing for a tailored fit that enhances comfort and safety for young riders. The multiple-density inner liner is engineered to absorb impacts effectively by positioning the correct foam density in targeted areas, which not only improves impact absorption but also contributes to the helmet's overall lightweight profile.
The inner and outer surfaces are specially designed to minimize the effects of oblique impacts, offering enhanced protection during angled collisions. A low friction coating applied to the EPS liner acts as a slip plane, reducing rotational forces that can cause brain injury during certain impacts by mimicking the body's natural cerebrospinal fluid, which provides a critical defense against rotational trauma. Ventilation is maximized through ten intake vents and seven exhaust ports, promoting high heat transfer and airflow to keep the rider cool during intense activity.
