At the core of the Tech 7 is an innovative Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) lower shell. This shell features a specialized design on the shifter area to reduce front roll and allow for effortless gear changes. The structure is further strengthened with a metal shank and reinforced at the toe zone for superior impact and abrasion resistance. For improved flexibility, the boots are equipped with a medial and lateral double pivot system, providing a high level of precision while maintaining structural integrity. A low-profile pivot system around the ankle supports natural freedom of movement and rider comfort, while a contoured TPU calf protector plate offers effective impact resistance.

Protection is prioritized through strategically positioned shock-absorbing padding on the ankles and shin plate, along with innovative inserts in the front flexion zone for progressive support. An extended medial TPU panel incorporates an enlarged rubber insert for maximum grip contact with the bike and improved heat resistance. To protect the Achilles tendons, the design includes a dedicated TPU rear bridge. Inside, a poly-fabric lining with 3D open cell foam and anti-sliding suede reinforcement on the heel ensures your foot stays secure and comfortable during long rides.

The closure system utilizes high-impact polymer buckles with an aluminum frame, featuring self-aligning, quick-release closures for a customized and secure fitment. To keep the elements at bay, a soft microfiber gaiter effectively seals out excessive water and dirt entry. The one-piece sole is constructed from a highly durable, dual compound vulcanized rubber. Notably, the sole includes an innovative wear limit indicator embedded in the footpeg area; this layer displays red when the sole is worn out, alerting the rider that it is time for a replacement.
