The Alpinestars Tech 5 Boots are engineered for optimal off-road performance and durability. Constructed with an innovative abrasion-resistant microfiber upper, these boots feature a synthetic polymer toe box that enhances water resistance, durability, and weight savings. The material maintains a consistent fit over time and is designed for easy cleaning and maintenance. Redesigned instep and Achilles accordion flex zones made from lightweight microfiber provide superior comfort, control, and support during demanding rides. The advanced polymer core structure envelops the upper boot, delivering excellent structural integrity and abrasion resistance while allowing controlled flex for dynamic riding movements. An anatomically profiled high modulus polymer shin plate offers impact and abrasion protection, with a Velcro® adjustable panel for a personalized and secure fit. The medial-facing biomechanical pivot system links the upper and lower sections of the boot, providing flexibility at the front and rear, along with structural support. Both the upper and lower panels feature formulated polymers with grip sculpture patterning, ensuring maximum contact with the bike and enhanced abrasion resistance. The rear calf protector incorporates a thermoplastic rubber (TPR) gaiter over a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) shell for added protection and comfort. The innovative buckle closure system combines durable polymer and fiberglass buckle arms with high-impact aluminum bridges. This system features a quick release/locking mechanism with a self-aligning design, enabling easy, precise closures that improve riding performance and security. All buckles are replaceable, and the TPU straps are ergonomically profiled to encourage high levels of front flexion. The dual compound TPU injected foot shell offers excellent impact and abrasion resistance, reinforced internally with a metal shank and toe co-injected in a harder compound for added safety. The exclusive dual compound sole integrates seamlessly with the multi-density foot base structure, providing durability, grip, and a natural feel while riding. The sole is replaceable for extended longevity. TPU heel patches and lateral/medial TPU components contribute additional protection and support. The boots feature soft poly-foam around the ankles and collar for shock absorption, complemented by a full interior textile lining for enhanced comfort. A replaceable, anatomically shaped EVA footbed with textile lining completes the design, ensuring a secure and comfortable fit for demanding off-road adventures.
