The Alpinestars Tech 3 Boots are engineered for optimal performance and protection on the trail and track. Crafted with an innovative microfiber upper, these boots offer flexibility, abrasion resistance, and lightweight durability, ensuring comfort during long rides. The microfiber material is strategically placed on the front and rear bellows for enhanced flexibility and a snug fit, while the synthetic toe box provides high abrasion resistance where it matters most. An extended polyurethane (PU) synthetic gaiter helps seal out water and dirt, maintaining dryness and cleanliness in challenging conditions.
Designed for support and impact resistance, the Tech 3 features a contoured TPU calf protector plate, a higher medial TPU protector with technical texture for improved grip, and an outer lateral TPU ankle guard. A TPU heel counter reinforces stability, while a rear thermoplastic rubber (TPR) gaiter patch offers additional protection and comfort at the rear flex point. The injected TPU shin plate, connected with the medial protector panel, adds further impact resistance. The closure system combines three polymer buckles with a ratchet mechanism, memory, and quick-release lock for precise adjustments and ease of use. The self-aligning design ensures a secure fit every time, and all buckles are replaceable for longevity.
The boots incorporate a one-piece TPU injected dual compound foot shell reinforced with a metal shank inside a co-injected toe reinforcement, providing strength and impact absorption. Soft foam surrounds the ankles and collar for comfort and shock absorption, while a replaceable EVA footbed with textile lining offers customizable support. The high-grip rubber compound outsole is designed for excellent traction and durability, and it is also replaceable to extend the lifespan of the boots. The ergonomic TPU triple buckle straps wrap harmoniously around the front flex, from the medial protector to the lateral side, without compromising flexibility, ensuring a secure yet comfortable fit for riders seeking protection and performance.
