The ALPINESTARS Supretech R10 helmet combines advanced molding technology with a layered composite shell designed for optimal strength and energy dissipation. Featuring a multi-composite construction that includes a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, an aramid fiber layer, a uni-directional carbon layer, and fiberglass, this helmet offers superior impact resistance while maintaining a lightweight profile. The bonded epoxy resin ensures an ideal resin-to-fiber ratio, maximizing mechanical performance and energy management, which helps distribute impact forces more effectively and limits outer shell deflection for enhanced protection.
Inside, the helmet boasts four specially designed inner shells that provide a precise fit for increased comfort and reduced weight. An eight-piece multi-density EPS liner with six strategically placed densities absorbs impact energy across different zones, offering excellent crash protection. The smooth, polished inner surface incorporates low-friction coatings to facilitate oblique impact management, allowing the helmet's liner to move independently from the rider's head. This design significantly reduces rotational and linear forces transmitted during impacts, helping to mitigate injury risks such as concussions.
The A-Head Fitment System allows riders to customize the helmet’s fit by adjusting the height and tilt, ensuring optimal comfort and safety. Chin vents are designed to prevent fogging by channeling incoming air towards the shield, maintaining clear visibility during intense riding sessions.
