Designed for female riders, the Alpinestars Stella SMX-1R V2 boots combine advanced materials and ergonomic engineering to deliver superior comfort, support, and protection on the bike. The main upper is crafted from an innovative microfiber material that ensures durability, abrasion resistance, and a lightweight feel, enabling riders to perform confidently in diverse riding conditions. An integrated heel counter support system works in conjunction with a strap closure, enhancing fit, structural integrity, and support. The rear of the heel counter includes a soft Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) insert that seamlessly blends with the rear flex zone, offering improved ankle mobility and comfort when operating bike controls. The rear flex bellow is equipped with a flex window, which acts as an air intake to promote effective ventilation and airflow, helping to keep feet cool and dry.
The boots incorporate a new ergonomic Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) shift pad for increased durability in a critical area, while the forefoot features an ergonomic shape that provides a wide-ranging, comfortable fit suitable for various foot profiles. The evolved closure system includes an anatomically angled strap that follows the natural shape of the rider’s instep, along with a quick-to-use Velcro® closure system secured with a TPR puller for easy adjustment and a secure fit. Aramidic fiber wires ensure the strap closure remains durable, lightweight, and thin without sacrificing strength.
A high-traction, rubber sole with an exclusive Alpinestars compound offers improved grip, water dispersion, and durability. The sole also features the Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) to safeguard against transversal loads, enhancing rider safety. Additional protective features include a layered double-density ankle protector, internal toe box protection, and external high-modulus TPU heel counter, lateral ankle, and shift pad for shock absorption and abrasion resistance. The internal mesh lining promotes moisture-wicking and cooling comfort, while the removable EVA foam and Lycra® foot-bed provide support and cushioning. Flex zones over the instep and Achilles' area, constructed from lightweight microfiber, optimize maneuverability and comfort both on and off the bike, making these boots a versatile choice for serious female riders.
