The Alpinestars Stella SMX-1R V2 boots are specifically designed for women riders, offering an anatomically engineered fit that ensures comfort and performance on the bike. Constructed with an advanced microfiber upper, these boots provide excellent durability, abrasion resistance, and a lightweight feel, making them suitable for both casual and competitive riding. The innovative heel counter support system, combined with a strap closure, enhances fit and structural integrity, providing stability during aggressive riding maneuvers. The rear of the heel counter features a soft Thermoplastic Rubber (TPR) insert that works seamlessly with the rear flex zone to allow for improved ankle mobility and comfort when operating the bike's controls. Additionally, the rear flex bellow with a flex window not only improves airflow but also acts as an effective ventilation system to keep your feet cool during extended rides.
The boots feature an ergonomic Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) shift pad for increased durability in critical areas, while the forefoot is streamlined for a wide-ranging fit that accommodates various foot profiles. The evolved closure strap is anatomically angled to follow the natural shape of the rider’s instep, ensuring a secure fit. The front Velcro® closure system allows for quick donning and removal, offering flexibility and convenience, with a TPR puller for easy adjustment. Aramidic fiber wires reinforce the strap closure system, maintaining a lightweight yet durable structure.
The sole is crafted from Alpinestars’ exclusive rubber compound with a grip pattern designed to improve feel, grip, water dispersion, and longevity. It also incorporates the Transversal Protection Frame (TPF), providing extra protection against transversal loads. The instep and Achilles flex zones are made from lightweight microfiber to balance durability, comfort, and maneuverability both on and off the bike. Thermowelded flex grooves control the flexion points, enhancing flexibility. A reverse zip closure offers convenience for putting on and taking off the boots, while double-density ankle protectors layered under the upper deliver abrasion resistance and impact protection. The integrated, replaceable bi-injected TPU forefoot slider features an easy-screw fixing concept for quick replacements. Additional protective elements include an external high modulus TPU heel counter, lateral ankle, and shift pad for shock absorption and durability, as well as internal toe box protection for added resilience. The removable anatomic foot-bed with EVA foam and Lycra® provides comfort and support, complemented by an internal mesh lining for moisture-wicking and cooling.
