The Alpinestars GP Plus v4 Leather Suit is a high-performance racing suit engineered for sport and track riders who demand advanced protection, exceptional comfort, and cutting-edge material innovation. At the core of the GP Plus v4 is the ultraflexible Flex Plus racing bovine leather. Specially tanned and refined in Italy, this leather provides a 6% adaptability ratio—80% higher than standard bovine leather—ensuring the suit moves seamlessly with the rider. This professional-grade material is 10% lighter than traditional leather, effectively reducing rider fatigue while maintaining world-class abrasion and tear resistance. The construction is further enhanced with Alpinestars Composite Stretch Plus and A-CS® Plus panels on the side torso and shoulder blades, offering 20% additional elongation and 300% higher tear resistance than standard leather.

Ventilation is a priority for high-intensity sessions. The suit features strategic perforations across the upper chest, abdomen, and thighs, complemented by lightweight, breathable Matryx® panels on the torso. This design ensures optimal airflow, which is especially critical when the suit is paired with Alpinestars Tech-Air® airbag systems. For maximum mobility, HRSF stretch inserts are located in the crotch, back of the legs, inner arms, and pectoral zones.

Safety is delivered through race-proven GP-R armor on the elbows, forearms, knees, and shins, along with Nucleon Race shoulder armor. External GP DFS sliders on the shoulders, elbows, and knees provide additional impact mitigation and sliding protection. For long-term comfort, the suit includes soft stretch wrist and ankle cuffs and a detachable comfort liner treated with biostatic Polygiene® for freshness and odor control.
